Specially constructed Waste Water Canals to dispose, untreated waste from KMML
Apart from the flow of untreated waste water into Vattakkayal, there are specially constructed open canals which flows right into the National water way. All of this of course ends up in Ashtamudi Lake.
A detailed map with tracker enabled shows the path of the waste water flow from the Minamthottil Devi Temple corner of the Plant through the open canal and it ends at the National water way in front of KMML MS Unit. The blue line depicts the path of the canal from the plant to the Water way (via Chittezhathu Kudumba Kshetram).
