Bethsaida Hospice Care Centre
Bethsaida Hospice Care Centre is an organization with an intent is to cater to the needs of the terminally ill patient through a multidisciplinary team comprising nurses, counselors, priests and doctors. Basically, Nursing Care and Supporting Care takes precedence over Medical Care.
Here we provide specialist hospice care, advice and support for patients with advanced illness within Kollam District completely free of cost. The facility is neither a hospital nor a house, but rather a combination of the two, providing the skilled care of a hospital with the emotional and spiritual warmth of a home.
The needs of a terminally ill patient are many: medical, nursing, mental, social, spiritual and financial. The team comprises of doctors, nurses’ counsellors, volunteers and spiritual advisors, to offer “total: care to the patient (Nursing Care, Supporting Care & Medical Care)”.
Internships and Volunteering opportunities are also open to all.

To ensure that all Hospice Care residents have equitable access to quality care based on assessed need as they approach and reach the end of life.

To provide opportunities for capacity development of Persons with Disability and their families, fulfilling their rights, facilitating and promoting the creation of an enabling environment and inclusive society.
Mode of Project Operation
1) Meet the many needs of the patient: Medical, Nursing, Mental, Social & Spiritual.
2) Prepare the soul for a dignified death in prayers and personalized care.
3) The patient will be taken care completely free of cost.
4) Raise all the needed resources through crowd funding.
5) Publish the financials transparently for the public to be part of the project.
