MIDDAY MEAL INITIATIVE (MANNA)

The Manna program from Help Foundation is a current day version of traditional belief that God provides for the hungry and poor. The goal of the program is to assure that no one goes hungry and no one is denied the opportunity or assistance to relieve his hunger.
Since early March 2022, HELP Foundation volunteers started to provide a midday meal to people in and around Mayyanad Railway station in Kollam. The groups name is Manna and it intends to operate as a Community Kitchen to feed the needy. The Manna program from Help Foundation is a current day version of traditional belief that God provides for the hungry and poor.
Help Foundation, with the support and sponsorship from Mepco Schlenk Engineering College Alumni (1991 batch), have taken up this initiative to organize and distribute food daily to the poor and destitute in and around Kollam district.
Mepco Alumni are humbled and happy to be associated with this noble initiative and identify it as a means to contributing back to the less privileged in our society. We look forward to more individuals and entities who can sponsor and widen the Manna program.
