Anju, Paralysis Patient
HELP Foundation takes this opportunity to express gratitude to all who have extended a helping hand to Anju who is from the outskirts of Kollam, who is bedridden with both legs paralyzed. Treatment given has enabled her to sit up now without support.
Description
Physiotherapy when being introduced her left knee was 90-degree folded unable to straighten and both feet were stiff and immobilized. 3 months of mobilization & stretching physiotherapy treatment has enabled the strengthening of the knee by 50-degree and left feet passively movable.
To enable full mobilization this treatment needs to be continued as per the consultant physiotherapist requiring braces for her to the need of a further amount of Rs 25000.
