MANNA (MIDDAY MEAL PROGRAM)

Since early March 2022, HELP Foundation volunteer’s started to provide a midday meal to people in and around Mayyanad Railway station in Kollam. The groups name is Manna and it intends to operate as a Community Kitchen to feed the needy.

The Manna program from Help Foundation is a current day version of traditional belief that God provides for the hungry and poor.

Help Foundation, with the support and sponsorship from Mepco Schlenk Engineering College Alumni (1991batch), have taken up this initiative to organize and distribute food daily to the poor and destitute in and around Kollam district.

To assure that no one goes hungry and no one is denied the opportunity or assistance to relieve his hunger.

To feed people in need regardless of their circumstances. We are committed to improving the quality of life and restoring the dignity of those we serve by providing a hot meal to anybody in need of one.

We at HELP Foundation believe that, when Mepco Alumni as a group, comes forward to take care of less privileged in a community, the entire community would be uplifted out of poverty.

Mepco Alumni are humbled and happy to be associated with this noble initiative and identify it as a means to contributing back to the less privileged in our society

Through Mepco Alumni’s sponsorship and consistent monthly support for Manna Program, we could
reach more of the less privileged in the society and we wish one and all to join this program as
volunteers and contributors. You are also most welcome to visit us any time
